Consignment Terms

  • All items must be clean, with no stains, rips or other blemishes. However, Honey Mae's may, in its sole discretion, choose to accept items in less than optimal condition for an alternate payout*.
     

  • Our consignment period is sixty (60) days, starting the day your items are placed on the sales floor. After the 60 day period has expired, we will make one attempt to contact you. If you fail to pick up your unsold items within one (1) week, your items will become the property of Honey Mae's.
     

  • You will receive sixty percent (60%) of the sales price for optimal items or *fifty percent (50%) of the sales price of less than optimal items if you choose to receive In Store credit (ISC).
    You will receive fifty percent (50%) of the sales price for optimal items or *forty percent (40%) of the sales price of less than optimal items if you choose to receive cash payment.

     

  • All prices will be set (and adjusted) by Honey Mae's, in our sole discretion. If you wish to set a minimum price for any items, you must let us know at the time you deliver the items to us. Minimum prices must be written on our inventory sheet or they will not be honored.
     

  • If you wish to receive a check for your account balance, you must notify us in writing. Checks will be issued within five (5) days after the end of each month. You may choose to pick up your check at the store, or you may request that we mail a check to you (in which event we will deduct $1.00 from your balance for postage and processing).
     

  • Honey Mae's will make commercially reasonable efforts to protect your consigned items from any damage or loss. However, we assume no liability for any loss, damage or theft of any consigned item.
     

  • Honey Mae's will not accept any recalled items. If you would like to check your items for recalls before bringing them to the shop, please click the following link to be directed to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
     

  • Our ability to inspect and accept or reject your items when delivered to us without an appointment will depend on how busy the store is at the time. If you wish to ensure that we will be able to inspect your items immediately, you must make an appointment. Items delivered without an appointment will be inspected at our convenience.
